I apologized for the film in which Sivakarthikeyan was supposed to act - Aamir Khan

In a recent interview, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan said that he acted in a film that Sivakarthikeyan was supposed to act in and that he had apologized to him for it.

Aamir Khan’s film “Sittare Zameen Par” is set to release on June 20. The film is directed by Prasanna. It is noteworthy that he had already directed the Tamil film “Kalyana Shayari Saatham”.

In a promotional interview for the film, Aamir Khan said, “I was in a state of depression after the failure of the film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. After that, I decided to quit the film industry. That is why I had agreed to act in the film “Sittare Zameen Par”. But I decided to quit it.

Director Prasanna did not force me. But at the same time, he said, ‘You are my first choice’. After that, the director chose Barkhan Akhtar in Hindi and Sivakarthikeyan in Tamil instead of me in this film.

It was only then that I suddenly thought, ‘Let me act in this film; it’s a good script.’ When I told Prasanna about my decision, he said, ‘You are the producer of this film. The decision is yours. You are always my first choice.’After that, I spoke to both Farhan Akhtar and Sivakarthikeyan. Both of them said, ‘This is the film you have to act in,’ and I apologized to them. But they said, ‘No need to apologize. This is the film for you; act freely’. Both of them were supportive.

It was only then that I acted in this film,” said actor Aamir Khan.
