The movie ‘Thug Life’ is releasing in theaters on June 5. The film crew is touring different parts of India for promotions ahead of the film’s release. The audio launch of the movie ‘Tak Life’ was held in a grand manner at Sai Ram College, Chennai. The entire film crew participated in the event.
Speaking at the function, Kamal said, “As a representative of you, the fans, the Kannada superstar has come here. But he has not identified himself as a superstar. He has come here as a son, as a fan, as your representative. How can I not surrender to this love? Brother STR, I know the distance you have to travel. You also understand. You have a duty. You are the leader who leads this crowd. You have to act with that responsibility. You are still like that. But that responsibility has grown even more. It is not a burden; it is a pleasure. Experience it. I will also enjoy watching it!

As Ashok Selvan said, I was one of those who stood on Eltham’s Road during the ‘Vishwaroopam’ issue. I do not know many of the fans who were with me personally. How can I thank them all? That is why I came into politics. I did not come into politics to become the Chief Minister. But for the last 40 years, we have been slowly doing what an MLA should do for a constituency.
Because we are individual people. The brothers who worked with me in my youth have become great people in society today. Similarly, your brothers should be too, STR!
I saw the film ‘Iratta.’ I have played more than 30 double roles. I would make many changes in makeup to show the difference between the two roles. But Joju had shown a wonderful difference between the two roles in his early film, and that too in a story that takes place in the same police station. Joju, you are one of the actors I envy. I consider even those who want to act as competitors. But, at the same time, I also consider it my duty to welcome them.
‘”There are no singing quills… on my path…! Snakes are slithering around taking pictures’. “A fish eats dirt for food and cleans the pond, just like me!” This was what the artist said. All I was talking about was coffee. Looking at Abhirami, Mani Ratnam asked, ‘Are you going to beat me?’ I am a beater. That too, a boy who did not go to school, a boy who did not go to the film institute, what else would he do if he did not beat me? After beating me like this, he gave me a doctorate. But he never showed it to my sister. If he had shown it, he would have thrown it on my head and scolded me, ‘You should have studied more.'”
“Thank you to Tamil cinema, which continues to amaze me, to Tamil cinema, which has been lifting me up since childhood. How can I put it? I want to be a true cinema fan by making a good film next and elevating Tamil cinema”.
