Director Premkumar had recently announced that he has finished writing the screenplay for the second part of the film, which was a huge success.
But at the same time, there were reports in the media and social media that Vijay Sethupathi was not interested in acting in the second part of ‘96’ and that he had spoken to Pradeep Ranganathan and he had also refused, and that he was currently looking for another actor.
Director Premkumar, who has denied this, has said that he will direct the second part of ‘96’ using the stars of the first part. Regarding this, he further said:
This is false news as usual. ‘96-2’ can be made only with the actors who acted in the film ‘96’. I approached actor Mr. Pradeep Ranganathan for a completely different story. It has nothing to do with the film ‘96-2.
It is very difficult to deal with these harmful fake news that are increasing day by day. “Through this, I once again seek out my moral print and media friends to tell the truth,” said Director Premkumar.
